About My Practice
I believe that personal change is possible by making time and space for our own thoughts and feelings. My practice provides a safe, comfortable environment, based on principles of acceptance, non-judgment, and compassion to allow the strengths of my clients unfold. I support families, children, and individual adults through integrative psychotherapy that may include art and drama therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Services I Offer
In my practice I’m addressing a wide range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, self-image, eating disorders, complex trauma, grief and loss, and issues related to adjusting to a new country. As an expressive-art therapist, I offer my clients the option to use their creativity, their body, and music, as avenues to explore their feelings and express themselves, not only through talk-therapy. I can provide therapy in English and Hebrew in my office in San Mateo or Online.
For Young Children
I like to offer art-therapy, including sand tray, drama and play therapy, to honor their developmental stage, and help them to better express themselves.
For Families
I assess and treat the needs of the family system as a whole. I provide parent guidance, and I facilitate communication between family members.
Get to Know Me
I am a registered Associate Married and Family Therapist, graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) with a focus on Expressive-Arts Therapy.
Before I became a therapist I spent many years in the field of education, as a teacher and as a counselor. I worked with both children and adults, including new parents.
Outside of work, I raise two children together with my partner. We also take care of our energetic dog and attention-seeking cat. I like to spend my free time doing art, primarily clay sculptures and drawing.
